The Rosso Corsa gloves from Castelli shouldn't be known so much for being one of the two gloves the Cervelo Test team uses, but because it has been deemed Rosso Corsa by Castelli.Rosso Corsa simply translated means Racing Red. But it is much more than that. Rosso Corsa is the traditional red of international motor racing, the color all Italian race cars in international races were painted until the late 1960s. Racing red was definitely much cooler than the whit with two lengthwise stripes extending from the hood to the trunk that American cars rode. Rosso Corsa is reserved by Castelli to demarcate the best of their best, the garments where they've sweated every detail and have what they believe is a categorical breakthrough.As Castelli puts a premium on presenting smooth lines to the wind, this glove has no strap or Velcro; it's a pull-on. The palm has generous padding, 5mm thick in sections, made of a porous gel pad to minimize palm sweat inside the glove. The outside of the palm has a Silicone print that won't slip even when the bars are covered with a sheen of rain and a patina of Belgian mud. The back of the gloves are made in three parts. The central piece is a stretch mesh back; offering both sun protection and venting. The outside panel, where the scorpion logo is found, is Lycra. The inside panel with the embroidered Rosso Corsa logo is Lycra and the small scorpion logo is a soft, stretch terry wipe.The Castelli Rosso Corsa Gloves come in Black/Black, Black/Red, and White/Red. Sizes range from Small to 3XL
