Product Description
Ergon's HC2 Gloves are the long-fingered version of their HC1 gloves. You might think that they're more suitable for cooler weather, but the breathable mesh and lack of baubles means that your hands will stay cool enough to wear them in warm weather. And if it means that you'll feel like you have the protection you need on tough trails, then go for it.The back is a stretchy mesh that's comfortable and allows plenty of airflow. With relation to the grips, the palms are thinly padded and are doubled in the high wear areas underneath the base of the fingers and across the palm. Minimalism doesn't mean shortcuts here. The fingers are cut and sewn into an anatomic pre-bent shape, and the stitchwork is as clean as it gets so they just disappear. The fit is stretchy and snug, just like we like it. And for wrestle-free entry, there's a velcro adjuster on the inside of the wrist.Since Ergon grips naturally offer more support for the palm of your hand, it's possible that you could be wearing the wrong gloves. What we mean is that many modern glove offerings have extra padding sewn into the palms to relieve you of nerve and circulation problems when you ride on standard round grips. Since Ergon grips use a patented design that already does this for you, you don't need the extra padding. In fact, it can be discomforting and reduce your sensations of the bars. If you love your Ergon grips, you should ride them with the Ergon HC2 Gloves. The Ergon HC2 Gloves are Black/grey and are available in six sizes from X-Small to XX-Large. They're ideal for use with Ergon's GP, GC, and GR series of grips.
