Product Description
This all-mountain glove is comfortably light yet durable, and sized especially for women. The Xena glove balances a lightweight feel with the durability needed for all-day, all-mountain riding. The Super Fit engineered palm is made of supple Clarino and tailored to minimize excess material, so you get maximum control and comfort. Upper features moisture-wicking, 4-way stretch, breathable mesh and intelligently-placed sonic-welded armor. Palm features the Super Fit design with three-panel palm for a tailored fit. 1 - Thumb: The Super Fit Engineered thumb panel is essential to providing a snug fit with your hand while also allowing freedom of movement and enhanced grip necessary for maximum control and bar feel. 2- Palm: The Super Fit Engineered palm panel is optimized to provide a snug, comfortable fit without bunching when you grip the handlebar. By selecting the best material for each glove design and carefully sizing the palm panel to match the natural curve of the hand, the palm remains supple while providing a layer of protection. 3 - Body: the Super Fit Engineered body of a Giro glove is designed to support your hand's natural movement, while providing a platform for padding and protection where you need it most. Clarino synthetic leather provides enhanced durability. Padding is 2mm Technogel that distributes pressure more evenly for comfort and durability with less padding. Technogel is a proprietary polyurethane material originally designed for medical applications. Giro uses Technogel padding because of its superior pressure distribution characteristics. When pressed between the glove and handlebar, Technogel molds itself to the hand by deforming along all three axes. Normal padding materials tend to deform only along one axis which causes pressure to accumulate in the direct contact zones. The benefits to the rider are superior pressure distribution, excellent impact absorption, and long-lasting performance.
