Product Description
Thirty years ago, when down filling and wool were as warm as it got, freezing temperatures might have been a reasonable excuse not to ride. However, the times are a changin', and the Louis Garneau Lathi Gloves are an excuse killer. With a temperature protection range from -4 degrees and up, the durable Lathi gloves will protect your hands from ice, snow, and random acts of nature. The Louis Garneau Lathi Gloves are made from a combination of materials and a glove-within-a-glove design. For the upper hand, the Lathi gloves use Garneau's Wind Dry material. As the most exposed point of the glove, the upper needs Wind Dry's three-ply, laminated polyurethane membrane for heat regulation. The laminate is not only warm, but it's also micro-perforated to ensure efficient breathing. For the inner glove, the Lathi uses a thermo-laminated Lycra glove with a quick-wicking fleece lining. The palm of the outer glove uses Garneau's raised-rubber Fish Grip zone. There is also a ventilation channel running from the palm to the Ergo Air vent at the thumb's webbing. This ventilation system keeps the hand dry, because nothing is worse in freezing temperatures than moisture. The Lathi gloves also feature an adjustable extended cuff for extra surface protection from the elements. The Louis Garneau Lathi Gloves are available in sizes Small through X-Large, and in the color Black.
