Product Description
Glove padding doesn't excite us. Glove fit does. And durability makes us a bit giddy. The Capo Enzo Cycling Gloves work on all levels.First, there's the padding. It exists, but it is comprised of three sections of small, dense but flat blocks: one underneath the knuckles, one underneath the thumb, and one under the heel. This is just enough to damp a little vibration while still giving good bar feel and not bunching together when making a fist over the bars. Then, there's fit. The back is Power Lycra and the front is Clarino micro-fiber. One is very stretchy while the other is minimally giving. And Clarino is durable, too. The Clarino is not just on the palm, but rings the sides and finishes the fingers, which helps the Enzo Gloves weather lots of abuse. With another nod to durability, Capo stitched in finger-pulls on the palm-side of the middle and ring fingers. You can use these to lift the gloves off your fingers rather than yanking hard from the wrist, though you'll have room for this maneuver as the palm extends a bit past the wrist.Since we have a soft spot for tradition, we're glad to see the micro-fiber nose wipe on the thumb and a Velcro closure in back. And thanks to the smart choice of materials, these gloves are machine washable, but best line-dried.The Capo Enzo Cycling Gloves come in Black, Red, and White. Sizes run from Small to X-Large.
